October Light

From Darkness to Divine Light

October wraps the world in twilight beauty — shorter days, cooler nights, and quiet reminders of the unseen. Across the globe, many honor this time by remembering loved ones who have passed, celebrating the victory of light over darkness, and reflecting on the eternal bond between Heaven and Earth.

Some call it Halloween, others observe All Saints’ Day, All Souls’ Day, or Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — yet the heartbeat is the same: love endures beyond the grave, and the spirit lives on in divine light.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

Honoring the Light Beyond the Veil

This month, let us honor those who’ve transitioned before us — not with fear, but with faith. We remember their wisdom, their laughter, their prayers, and the way their light helped shape our journey.Their energy still flows through the river of God’s grace.

Practice of Remembrance:

  • Light a candle for loved ones in Heaven.

  • Whisper a prayer of thanks for their love.

  • Write their names in your Angelvention Journal as a tribute of remembrance.

Through this sacred act, you transform grief into gratitude and loss into legacy.

Redeeming the Night

While the world may dress up the darkness, we reclaim this season for divine light. Halloween doesn’t have to symbolize fear — it can be a creative celebration of courage, joy, and the light of God within us.

Declare with your family:

“Lord, let Your light guide our steps and fill our homes with divine protection and joy.”

You might even host a Light of God Party or Angel Blessing Night — filling your home with candles, prayers, and faith-inspired treats that remind others that the true power belongs to the Light and not the dark.

Spiritual Reflection: Life Eternal

October reminds us that death is not the end, but a transition into divine presence.Just as trees release their leaves to prepare for renewal, so too must we let go of fear and trust that every ending carries God’s promise of rebirth.

“Behold, I make all things new.” — Revelation 21:5

Closing Prayer

Light of God and Love,

We thank You for Your eternal presence that bridges heaven and earth.Comfort those who mourn, strengthen our faith, and renew our hope in Your divine plan. May Your light continue to shine through us, lighting the path for generations to come. It is done as we are one - Amen
